Mesra has got high influx of software companies. It has got good core companies as well . Almost 80 percent of the students get placed (mass recruitment is included in this ).

Top software companies which recruit are - Microsoft (took 20 students last year at the package of 40 lakhs) , Goldmann Sachs , Direct I (it's a very selective company ; visits very few colleges) , Walmart etc .

Top core companies are - Tata steel (10.11 lakhs) , Maruti (8lkhs) , Vedanta (7.95 lakhs), Lnt etc .

Few consulting companies also recruit -Pwc (8.4lkhs ; recruited 26 students in 19 batch) , Delloite , KPMG(4.5 lakhs ), EY , ZS (6.5lakhs) etc.

In totality : Around 120–140 students manage to get above 10 lakhs package .

And almost 50 cent of the placed students get a package b/w (5–10 lakhs).
