Hello,
There are a few eligibility criteria that one should satisfy before applying for JEE Mains.First of all there is no age limit for applying. Students who have passed their +2 in 2018,2019 or appearing for the exam in 2020 are eligible to apply for JEE Mains 2020. BE/B.Tech applicants should have passed the qualifying exam with Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects along with one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject.Candidates can appear for JEE Mains for three consecutive years.

The qualifications required for a student to take jee mains exam are as follows:
Student must have passed class 12 or qualifying the exam in 2018 or 2019 or is appearing in class 12th examination.
The student must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in 12th exam.
