So after B.Tech in biotech, there is not much option are available for you so must do M.Tech in Biotech after your B.Tech because usually, companies prefer M.Tech degree for freshers in this segment. If you are planning a career in Biotech then I will suggest opting this branch. In terms of scope in India, According to IBEF report, the biopharmaceutical segment accounted for the largest revenue share of 64 percent in India biotech industry, during FY16. India is becoming a leading destination for clinical trials, contract research and manufacturing activities which is leading to the growth of bio services sector.
