Hello Sanchayita
Under All India Quota its impossible for you to get a seat but under state quota you have alot of chances, as you may get a seat during second or third counselling. if you belong to general category then your chances are quite low as the cut-off marks are above 500+ marks and for obc candidate it will be around 480+ and for sc/st candidate it will be above 420 marks. For General Category, you must score a minimum of 550 marks to ensure a seat. Getting into a private college may also prove to be difficult. However, please don't loose hope. Keep your options open. Please remember, this is not the absolute dictum and ultimately, it will depend on your percentile. 480-485 is a lower moderate marks for UR category. this falls into the average marks category which is why competition will be very high. however, there is a small chance of getting a MBBS seat. if not mbbs , bds seat is more likely. Depending on your state you can manage to get into the lowest ranked government colleges if possible. You can get the best bds government colleges of your state.
You will get most of the private colleges if you can afford to.
Target at least 500 to secure admission into a decent goverenment medical college without any problem.
Another think is whether you belong to any category or not. And lastly, which state you belong to (because different state has different cut-off. like Tamil Nadu cut-off are very less. You will get admission in only few states where cut-off is very less.
Here is a list of few private colleges where you have chances of getting admission with a score of 450-480:-
