What are the advantages of studying in bhu CHS class 11.and how will it help me in b.tech course in bhu

CHS is an oldest non co-ed school in Varanasi. It was founded by Dr. Annie Besant in 1898. Later on its governance was given to Benaras Hindu University which was established by Mahamana Madan Mohan Malviya. To get admission in CHS you have to clear a really tough examination. 20k to 25k students take entrance test every year but approximately 200 to 250 are selected. The school is known for its SARGA HALL where so many cultural programs are organised. It has a very large playground where interschool football tournament is played. Library TELANG PUSTAKALAYA contains approximately 3000 books of every stream. About 300 teaching and non- teaching staffs are in the school. The teachers are well qualified here as they are recruited by BHU. The fee is negligible (2.5k per year). The school produces IITians, NITians, Doctors etc every year. A fact about CHS about which only few people aware of is that it has a rare and oldest statue of Dr. Annie Besant in a hall where meetings are held by school authority. There are a lot of interesting things you will know after taking the admission in CHS.
