Hello,
There can be so many things which can be the barrier to the communication like if you use jargon(technical terms of which other person is not introduced) ,emotional barrier like one is fail to express his feelings to other one ,lack of attention this could be the main reason if you want to have a effective communication you should be very attentive to what other person is saying ,sometimes having different perception regarding same thing can also lead to uneffective communication ,physical disability such as hearing problem and speech difficulties
To have an effective communication one must be aware of these barriers and try to reduce their impact by continually checking understanding and by providing appropriate feedback
