First let me mention some advantages:
This is a Versatile Branch i.e you can get to learn Mech, Elec, Computer and Communication.
You can get to learn about Robotics and Automation and various different aspects about them.
Now coming to disadvantages:
Very Less Scope in our Country.
You will not be considered as an expert in any particular field.
