There are varities of books available for preparation of KVPY but it depends upon subject you chosen like PCM/PCB. According to survey of many students books for KVPY preparation are as same as JEE Mains/Advanced or NEET preparation.

If you qualify KVPY exam, you will receive a scholarship from 1st year of the ongoing graduation. the candidates receive a monthly scholarship of 5000 rupees from 1st year to 3rd year of B.S./B. Math/Integrated M.SC/M.S. and an yearly grant of 20,000 rupees contingently, provided that if you pursue your undergraduate courses in the following subjects such as Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Cell Biology, Ecology, Molecular Biology, Botany, Zoology, Physiology, Biotechnology, Neurosciences, Bioinformatics, Marine Biology, Geology, Human Biology, Genetics, Biomedical Sciences, Applied Physics, Geophysics, Materials Science, Environmental Science, Statistics, Biochemistry and Microbiology.
