These days many universities even led their pupils to pursue PhD directly after Masters but securing an MPhil is still prestigious as it has many effects. MPhil finds a good base for PhD and it also boosts confidence of the student. Also an MPhil can become a lecturer with good salary. The degree is also helpful in career as Project Officer or Project Management Officer.
