If you have a valid good GATE Score then you have many options:
1.M.Tech Direct Admission in IISc/IITs-Some IITs take direct admission based on valid GATE Score.
2.M.Tech Admission in IITs through Interview-If you do not get direct admission, you may need to face interviews in IISc and some IITs.Prepare 4 to 5 important subjects from GATE Syllabus to face these IIT interviews.
3.Other Admissions in IITs-You can also apply for Interdisciplinary courses, M.Tech (RA), M.S (Research), and PhD in IISc/IITs.M.Tech 4.Admission in NITs-To get the admission in NITs, you will be required to choose the preference of NITs which will be available through CCMT online Counselling.CCMT Counselling will begin in the month of May/June.
5.PSU jobs recruiting through GATE Score:If you are interested in joining PSUs(public service units), now you can apply to various PSUs and after the GATE result, these PSUs shortlist merit candidates based on GATE score obtained.
You can choose any of the above and pursue career in your respective field i.e chemical.

GATE is the examination taken by the post graduates(btech) to pursue mtech from the best collegeS of the country like IITs and NITs. The Mtech degree from these colleges is very useful as the placement becomes very easy and you can go for teaching profession for chemical engineering.
