What are the best reference books for CUCET MSc microbiology entrance
Hello Nikhil,
There is a biology book - ' Objective Biology' by Dinesh which may help you.
The most important thing you need to worry about is the Time Management.Taking timed tests is as important as clearing your concepts. During your CUCET exam preparation, you might be able to solve many questions, but what if you are not able to solve them within the time limit. This is why you should take timed tests so that you can complete your exam well in time and identify the types of questions that are time consuming.
I am explaining you a good tip for score well. Whatever is the syllabus for the CUCET to study, break the entire syllabus into smaller sections. This way, you can study the topics one by one instead of trying to understand everything in one go.
Note : 75% of the questions asked in CUCET Exam aim at testing the domain knowledge of the candidates.
I am explaining you about the exam pattern for CUCET.
- The paper is divided into two sections – Part A, which consists of 25 multiple choice questions and Part B which consists of 75 questions.
- The question paper consists of total 100 objective types of questions.
- Negative marking is also applicable, 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Each correct answer will carry 1 mark.
- PART A will contain 25 MCQs on the following subjects: English Language, General Awareness, Mathematical Aptitude, Analytical Skills. Most of the aspirants consider Part A as easy and that's why they give less preference to part A preparation. But don't take it easy, this part is the most scoring one.
- PART B will contain 75 MCQs and consist of questions relating to candidate’s Domain Knowledge/Subject specific questions., with 2/3/5 sections. Each section will have twenty-five or more questions.
- The total duration for the paper will be 2 hours.
Hope this helps!!
All the Best :)
