B. Tech also popularly known as Bachelors of Technology is a professional undergraduate program in engineering program which is conducted for a duration of 4 years. The major difference between a B.Tech and BE program is:
- B. Tech is more skill oriented and leans more towards application engineering
- It deals more with the technical aspects of science
- The course applies in depth the principles of engineering as well as technology for modifying the structures and thereby enhancing the quality.
Typically pursued after 12th, the course is pursued for a duration of 4 years and is for 3 years in case the student pursues Diploma after the completion of 12th. Under B.Tech students can opt for a myriad of specializations which are similar to that of B.E.
