Firstly in a cs branch to succeed you should have good command in the basic c language. For this you can study Yashwant Kanetkar. It is one of the best in the level.
For other subjects such as electronics, physics, chemistry etc. you can study the recommended books by your syllabus. One of them ought to be good.
But if you want to succeed well in the field of cse engineering you should gain command in either basic c or java. You would be benefited greatly in future.
