what are the career opportunities after doing B.Tech in chemical engineering, in India? I'm more inclined towards getting government jobs. i am fine with pvt job options as well.

Hello there,

Chemical Engineering has got a vast scope in various industries both in India and Aboard.

To start with, for a government job you can get jobs in PSUs such as IOCL, HPCL, BARC, ONGC, NPCIL, SAIL, BHEL, etc. For recruitement in these companies, you need to appear for GATE exam and pass their minimum qualifying criteria.

Apart from these govt. Jobs, you can also appear for the jobs in various companies such as Honeywell, JSW, Reliance, etc. You can make good career in Petroleum industries, Pharamaceutical Industries, Research and Development in NCL, IISER, etc.
