Hello Sri,
As a candidate under the sponsorship quota, you will require the following certificates:
1. Copy of valid Indian passport of both student and sponsor
2. Copy of visas obtained in the last 12 months by both student and sponsor
3. Certificate from the local embassy stating that the student and the sponsor are both NRI/OCI or the P.O card
4. An affidavit by the sponsor verifying his/her interest in the student's education and their willingness to financially support the student for the coming 5 years.
5. Copy of the bank account/passbook of the sponsor
6. Work permit and nativity certificate of the sponsor
If you have qualified the NEET, do carry related documents such as score card, hall ticket, etc.
It is desired that the sponsorship is provided by first degree relatives ( parents, siblings ). Howvever, as long as your uncle is convincing of his interest and contribution to your education in his affidavit and also a non-resident Indian, then his sponsorship should be accepted.
However, all colleges do not abide by the general rules. Therefore other than the already mentioned documents, if there is something else a specific college needs, you will come to know during the form fill up/admission process.
Hope this helps :)
