Dear Umesh, being honest there are 200 seats for JIPMER MBBS in its 2 branches. Out of those 200 seats, 13 have been allotted to EWS Category. 74 seats are for General Category, 37 seats are for OBC, 20 for SC, 9 for ST. In 2018, around 1,97,751 candidates registered and a total of 78, 053 students cleared the exam. Comparing it to 200 seats, for every seat the competition is nothing less than 3000 candidates.

You need to score really well in the JIPMER exam if you want to get selected into it as there are only 70 seats for Unreserved candidates and every year more than 1.5 lakh people give the exam.
