What are the common mistakes made by a student while preparing for GATE CS exam ?
Other very common mistake is not revising the previous topics. Also, one should not keep the whole revision fir the end but do that regularly.
Also you need to be very disciplined throughout the whole journey. Studying diligently and sincerely is the most important. You should be focussed towards your goal.
Another mistake made by many is getting demotivated by other student's failure. And once demotivated it is very difficult to get back on track. Just always remember that people are very different. Just because someone you know couldn't clear it does not mean the same will happen to you.
So be sincere, hard working and crack it.
GATE is a national level and one of the prestigious examination in the country. Every year lakhs of students prepare for the exam and attempts it. While preparing for the exam the common mistakes made by a student are-

A candidate needs to understand the syllabus and weightage thoroughly. And prepare according to it and make his/her own strategy.
Hello Abir !
If you want to pursue higher studies in Computer science or want to jobs in PSU'S after doing bachelor's from CSE , then don't distract yourself if you get a private job in an IT firm , this is the most common mistake from my point of view all computer science students preparing for GATE does , as being a CSE graduate you will easily get a job after your engineering from college placements or off campus , and by this you might get distracted from your preparation.
Hope it helps !
All the best !
