The cutoffs at various NITs in India can vary based on factors like home state quota, gender (male or female students), it can be higher for the top ranked NITs and also varies every year according to JEE Main paper difficulty level, availability of seats, number of students appearing for the exam etc. The cutoffs will also vary for each branch, top branches like CSE, ECE will require higher cutoffs.
The qualifying marks in JEE for SC students in 2020 is 50.1760245 percentile, which is approximately 26-28 marks is a minimum that a SC student should score to qualify in the exam.
