What are the conditions in which the MCC/DGHS returns the fees after counseling for NEET-UG? PS: Specially for management quota
Hello,
Counseling scheme for every year is uploaded by mcc on the website. MCC/DGHS will returns your forfeiture security fees only if u are not allotted any college according to your. If you had been allocated a college in first round then you have three choices either you opt admission in particular college by completing further procedure. Second you can for upgradation in the second round and third is free exit you can report to college and surrender the seat and you exit the COUNSELING in this case your forfeiture security fees will get refunded. Once you enter in second round counseling and you had been allocated a college then either report to college and get your addmission completed and otherwise exit wit forfeiture security fees (Exit with forfeiture means if a candidate allotted a seat in the second round of counseling and does not want to join the allotted seat then, as per the exit policy, candidates can exit with forfeiture (losing security amount deposited) and once candidate joined the allotted seat cannot be surrendered or resigned from it.) If you had been not allotted a college in second round you can also go for mopup round . Read the below points for further details
•Candidates joined in 2nd round of
counseling will not be allowed to
resign/leave the seat and they will not
be allowed in any other counseling. No
up-gradation will be allowed from the
2 nd Round to DGHS Mop Up round. No
provision of up-gradation facility would
be provided in the Round-2
•Eligibility for exit with forfeiture of
tuition fees within two days after
publishing of round-2 result:-
a) All the candidates upgraded from
round-1, allotted seat in round-2 but did
not report at the college.
b) Candidates freshly registered in
round-2, allotted the seat in round-2 and
did not report at the college.
*Note:- Candidates allotted the seat in
round-2 and report at the college are not
eligible to resign/surrender their seat.
•Candidates allotted the seat in
mop-up round of counselling
conducted by MCC/DGHS are
not eligible to participate in Stray
vacancy round of the counselling
to be conducted by respective
universities
