You’ve to choose which engineering stream you want to go into, not by popularity, but by your own passion and interest(s).
For example if you're good with Math/Computers go with Computer Science.
If you're good in hand drawing (optional) and you can think about things in a physical dimension, then go for Mechanical/Aeronautical/,etc.
Basically my point is to say that, ultimately it boils down to you. You've to create your own future. All of the engineering courses have futures, but you have to prove worthy of that future. And please choose a good college, don't go to any college, because the better the college, the better the faculty, the better the exposure, the better the environment, etc.
