Hello there

  • You can get into research through various ways. You can complete you MBBS course and then pursue your M.D. and then apply for A Ph.D.

  • There is also direct way for first class students (60%) in MBBS to enroll for research institutes. Those who have done ICMR projects or other similar research or thesis during their study years can gain fellowships.

  • Nano medical science: Meritorious MBBS graduates can opt M.Tech. programmes in medical nano technology or nano medical sciences. But limited opportunities are available for study. In Kerala, Amrita Centre for Nano Sciences under Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS).

  • However, the above is limited to only MBBS. There are many other research opportunities through B.Sc., B. Pharm etc.

All the very best!
