In order to be eligible to apply for admission in the B.Tech programmes that are offered by the institute, candidates will have to ensure that they meet the requisite cutoff. Normally, the authorities concerned release the cutoff after every round of seat allotment.


Before determining the cutoff, certain parameters are taken into account. These parameters include the total number of seats that are available in each of the programmes at different participating institutes. The other aspect that is taken into account is the total number of students who took the MHT CET exam. The authorities also take into account the difficulty level of the exam and the average marks which are secured by the candidates who took the MHT CET entrance exam.
