Hey!

CLAT exam will be held on May 8, 2022.

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has announced the CLAT 2022 qualifying requirements for integrated LLB and LLM programmes. Candidates who wish to take the Common Law Admission Test in 2022 must meet the consortium's CLAT eligibility requirements. It covers a variety of topics, including the educational requirements for taking CLAT 2022, the minimum qualifying marks, the age limit, and more.

Candidates must have passed a recognised board or institution's Class 12 (10+2) or equivalent examination.

CLAT 2022 is open to candidates who will be taking the qualifying test in March/April 2022. Candidates who fail to present proof of their educational qualification during the CLAT counselling and admission procedure will have their admission terminated.

The applicant must have received at least 45 percent or an equivalent grade in the qualifying test (10+2).

Candidates from the SC and ST categories must have a minimum of 40% or equivalent grades in their qualifying examination.

There are no age restrictions for taking the Common Law Admission Test.

When preparing for an exam such as CLAT, it is critical for the applicant to ensure that they have the top CLAT 2022 study books. Because if the reading or reference material is poor, the output cannot be far behind. As a result, make it a point to just use CLAT 2022 finest books to prepare for the exam.

English-The national-level exam's English language part will have roughly 28-32 questions, or a 20% weighting. Each of the 450-word comprehension passages in this part will be followed by a series of objective type questions. The candidate's language abilities and understanding will be tested in this portion.

Objective General English by RS Aggarwal

Current Affairs and GK- The Current Affairs and General Knowledge segment of the CLAT question paper will include about 35-39 questions, with a weightage of roughly 25%. There will also be 450-word pieces culled from news, journalistic sources, and other non-fiction literature in this part. Four or five objective questions will be asked after each passage.

Pearson General Knowledge Manual Manorama Year Book

Competition Success Review

Lucent’s General Knowledge

India Year Book Pratiyogita Darpan

Legal-The CLAT 2022 question paper will feature 35-39 questions in the Legal Reasoning section, with a weightage of roughly 25%. The section's questions will be based on 450-word texts and will not need the applicant to have any prior knowledge in order to answer them. Legal issues, public policy issues, moral philosophical inquiries, and other topics will be addressed in the questions.

Bare Acts of Indian Constitution

Logical Reasoning- The logical thinking component will be weighted at roughly 20%, or about 28-32 questions. Questions will be based on texts that will be roughly 300 words long each. Reading these texts, the applicant is required to derive premises and conclusions, recognise arguments, analyse patterns, and make inferences.

Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning by RS Aggarwal

Analytical and Logical Reasoning by R.S. Aggarwal

Analytical Reasoning by MK Pandey

Quantitative Techniques-Quantitative Techniques will be the least weighted area of the five, with roughly 13-17 questions and a 10% weighting. However, this does not negate the value of the section; if the applicant can scrape out a few points, it will all add up to a higher total score, and hence a greater chance of being considered for a seat or a preferred NLU.
