Hello aspirant,
There is no such thing that a degree is better than other in terms of cracking UPSC exams and becoming an IAS officer. Regarding your concern for IAS eligibility any bachelors degree from a recognized university of India is accepted.
But the degree which can help you to crack IAS is BA in history or similar subjects as in this course you will be studying 3 to 4 major subjects which will be there in the paper of UPSC so having an upper hand will always help you score good marks.
