Hello Dear,

The basic difference between these two respiration is - Aerobic respiration takes place in the mitochondria and requires oxygen and glucose, and produces carbon dioxide, water, and energy. Anaerobic respiration also produces energy and uses glucose, but it produces less energy and does not require oxygen.

Good Luck

Hi Aspirant,

The breakdown of glucose in the presence of oxygen to produce more amount of energy is called as aerobic respiration . The breakdown of glucose in the absence of oxygen to produce energy is called as anaerobic respiration .Carbon dioxide and water are the end products of aerobic respiration. Alcohol is the end product of anaerobic respiration . Aerobic respiration releases more energy than anaerobic respiration.

Hope it helps!!
