Both are graduate level programs for a career in engineering. Duration is 4 years with 8 semesters, 2 each year. Qualification for both the programs is same 10+2. You can get admission by giving the entrance exam of the university or through management quota.
B.E. program is based on theoretical knwoledge which can be used to develop new equipments and technical gadgets in science and technology.
B.Tech. program is based on practical knowledge which can be used to apply the principles of engineering and technology to improve the existing structures and technology and the different appications. Latest technology is made available through this process.
B.E. is data oriented and B.Tech. is skill oriented.
B.E. is Bachelor of Engineering and B.Tech. is Bachelor of Technology.
Scope of both the programs is good. Both have good placement opportunities.
So, you can choose based on your preference that if you want to do some theory and apply it to develop equipments or do some practical and bring innovation in exisiting things. Choose according to your passion and interest.
