I am also 3rd year Mechanical engineering student. Talking about mechanical engineering syllabus throughout the courses one is common in all the branches that is Engineering Mathematics and specially for mechanical engineering you have to study thermodynamics,theory of Machines, vibration control, metallurgy, manufacturing process, machine drawing.
