First of all the eligibility criteria for BPT is passed 10+2 from a recognized board in science stream with physics, chemistry and biology as core subjects securing 50% aggregate(this may vary as per the norms of the university), the course is for a duration of four years followed by six months of compulsory clinical internship, generally admission process is done through entrance test such as NEET scores are acceptable in the colleges of Maharashtra for pursuing BPT, other than this there are IPUCET, BCECE, VELS Entrance Exam to name a few, some of the top colleges offering BPT are IMS BHU, MS Ramaiah Medical College, St Johns Medical College, Madras Medical College, IPGMET Kolkata to name a few.
