Admission at AFMC is strictly based on the merit basis of performance of candidates in NEET, ToELR, Psychological Assessment Test and Interview.
Firstly, candidates are shortlisted for ToELR on the basis of NEET scores. The candidates are then called for Test of English Language, Comprehension, Logic and Reasoning. ToELR is an online test consisting of 40 MCQs to be attempted in 30 minutes. Each question is of 2 marks and there’s a negative marking of 0.5 marks for each incorrect response. The marks obtained in ToELR is added to NEET score and then divided by 4 to get the written examination score out of 200.
Next comes the second stage of the admission process comprises of psychometric test and interview. This test is of 50 marks. The final AFMC MBBS merit list is based on the total score obtained in both the stages.
Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate must be an Indian National and should have completed 17 years of age at the precribed date.
English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology are compulsory with minimum aggregate of 60% in 10+2 or any equivalent examination (mimimum aggreagate of 50% each in PCMB. with Mathematics in Class 10 exams)
