After Civil Engineering you can write the exams-

  • GATE : Graduate Aptitude test for engineering is the most preferred technical exam in civil engineering stream one can score well and get good respected job in PSU OR public sector unit which are as good as government jobs but good salary package and better life. And if u don't want to do job this exam helps you go in toP NIT IIT for Mtech.
  • Indian engineering service : this is the apex among all, this exam is equivalent to Indian administrative services and gives you a profile of chief engineer or executive engineer in top department of nation like railway's , central public works department and water resources. You can sum up it as the post of IAS in an engineering stream.
  • SSC exams held by CPWD and other independent bodies also conduct their independent examinations.
  • There are other exams too like state PSC, railway recruitment board.

Good luck!
