Hello aspirant,

Having completed class 12 and having a B average in math, physics, and chemistry is required to enter the merchant navy.

Candidates must be Indian nationals who are not married, regardless of gender. Although glasses up to plus or minus 2.5 may be permitted, normal eyesight is necessary. A screening test, a main written examination, and an entrance exam are all required for admission. After passing the test, there is a medical examination and an interview. Prior to work, you must also pass a course on ship operations. The training typically lasts for a short period of time and teaches the candidates about fundamental travel security issues.

Thank you

Hope it helps you
