Hi aspirant,

Fundamental rights are the basic rights that are provided to each and every person of India. These rights confirm that there is exploitation, discrimination, inequality or racism to any person in this country. These rights are essential to protect the dignity and pride of any individual. There are mainly six fundamental rights:

  1. Right to equality
  2. Right to freedom
  3. Right against exploitation
  4. Right to freedom of religion
  5. Right to education and  culture
  6. Right to constitutional remedies.

Right to equality ensures that everyone is equal before law and order. Right to freedom ensures freedom to all and no one could be bounded by others in any manner within the laws. Right against exploitation in shows that no one rules other person and cannot opress him or her. Right to freedom of religion ensure that everyone is free to worship and follow the religion of his or her choice. Right to education and culture means that everyone has equal share to education and no one could deny it also any person is allowed to follow any practice of culture. Right to constitutional remedies means everyone has the right to know about the changes or amendments that are made to the constitution.

Hope it helps!

Hello,

-------- Fundamental Rights, unlike ordinary legal rights, are protected and guaranteed by the constitution of the country.

Some of the rights are available only to the citizens while others are available to all persons whether citizens, foreigners or legal persons like corporations or companies.

The Fundamental Rights: The Constitution of India provides for six Fundamental Rights:

• Right to equality (Articles 14–18)

• Right to freedom (Articles 19–22)

• Right against exploitation (Articles 23–24)

• Right to freedom of religion (Articles 25–28)

• Cultural and educational rights (Articles 29–30)

• Right to constitutional remedies (Article 32)

I hope you find the answer helpful.

Thank you.
