It is better if you complete your Msc industrial chemistry after Bsc or in any other field like physical, organic, inorganic, polymer etc. Msc will help you get skills and knowledge which will be useful for you to get a job in any chemical or pharma companies. Msc is of 2 years and some colleges have entrance exams like IIT JAM, OUCET, CUCET etc. Job profiles after Msc includes Lecturer, scientist, business analyst, quality assurance officer, Chemist etc. Also many companies recruit. You can go for chemical Engineering via Lateral entry or MSc in Chemistry. Also you can opt for Pharma via Lateral Entry. You can also do Mtech in Chemical Engineering after completion of MSc in chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry. Also you can go for Integrated phD by qualifying JAM, JEST, TIFR etc.
