what are the good agricultural institutes in india
These are the best private agricultural colleges in India:-
- Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCSHAU)
- Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI)
- Geeta University, Panipat
- University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS)
- Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU)
- Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU)
- Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUA&T), Bhubaneswar
As per my experience, I would suggest you to go with Geeta University, GU has a very good reputation in all over Delhi NCR. They are known for good placements and for good quality education.
The university has well-equipped laboratories, library, lecture rooms and excellent farm facility to conduct agricultural experiments. Students learn about the latest advancements in the field of agriculture, disease resistance, fertilizers and, insecticides with extensive fieldwork and field trips preparing them for the evergreen field of agriculture.
The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures .
As per my knowledge Geeta University is best University for B.Sc (Hons.) and M.Sc Agriculture course.
My cousin brother has taken admission in B.Sc(Hons.) Agriculture programme this year. When we have visited University for counselling session, we came to know about few things:-
Students are exposed to Commercial farms to get know-how that create an opportunity for students to engage and tone up their endurance, confidence and management skills.
The University aims to equip students with the knowledge, technology, and awareness of Agricultural Science, Plant Science, and Animal Production by combining a variety of wildlife trips, low-level training activities, and industry exposure. The combination of an effective curriculum and modern agricultural practices makes our teaching more effective and participatory, thus opening up different career opportunities for students.
