Engineering colleges mainly require JEE Main rank or any other entrance exam rank for admission. If you do not want to apply for JEE Main, then you can apply for the state level entrance exams accepted by the colleges. Some of them are WBJEE, KCET, COMEDK. There are many University level entrance exams as well which you can sit for.
Some colleges where you can apply without JEE Main are as follows:
1. SRM University through SRMJEE
2. RV College of Engineering through COMEDK
3. VIT through VITEEE
4. BITS Pilani through BITSAT
You can also get admission in your state colleges through your state entrance exam. You haven't mentioned your state so I cannot specify the name of the entrance exam. Also, you can get direct admission in some private colleges through management quota but it requires a huge amount of money. So it's better that you sit for some entrance exam and get admission through it.
