7.VJTI, Mumbai



Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, formerly known as Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute, is one of the oldest engineering colleges in Asia, founded in 1887. VJTI is an academically and administratively autonomous institute, however it is a part of the University of Mumbai and its degrees & diplomas are issued by the University.





8.RVCE, Bangalore



Rashtreeya Vidyalaya College of Engineering grabs the eighth position on the top 10 private colleges list. Established in 1963, RVCE has 11 departments in engineering, and is accredited by AICTE and NBA.

9.IT, Nirma University, Ahmedabad

Institute of Technology was affiliated to Gujarat University till April 2003. Thereafter, it has become a constituent of the Nirma University. About 15 km from Ahmedabad, it is also easily accessible from the state capital Gandhinagar.

10.PESIT, Bangalore



PESIT was established in 1988 and is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. It was granted academic autonomy in August 2007.
