After your b.tech you have a lot of government jobs offered by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) and SSC(Staff Selection Commission). These two recruitment agency in the country organizes various recruitment drives throughout the year for b.tech degree holders.

Same as state government also conducts various drives for the vacancies in departments of state government. Vacancies in government department for b.tech final year  students are....

• Assistant Executive Engineers
• Superintendent Engineers
• Junior Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant and etc....

Apart from central government and state government many Public Sector Undertakings(PSUs) also hiring thousands of engineering candidates every year in technical branches. To apply for PSUs candidate must have at-least 60% marks in their b.tech. Some of the PSUs where b.tech students can apply...

To get into that PSU recruitment's are done on the basis of  GATE every year. Along with these b.tech students also have Railway jobs. Positions of b.tech students in this field is Section engineer, divisional engineer, project engineer, executive engineer, assistant engineer, junior engineer, etc..,in the technical branches of Indian Railways. Age limit for the candidates are minimum of 21 years and maximum of 30 years.
