Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology & Research Academy (SASTRA) University is deemed university and one of the top universities in Tamil Nadu. It has eight schools and two centers that offer undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs in various fields. The university has a dedicated placement cell that looks after the employment needs of the students.
