There are a lot of job opportunity after completing you B.tech in Mechanical engineering stream.

You join Companies as Assistant engineer, junior engineer.

If you are bright in study then prepare yourself for GATE and get selected for PSUs.

It is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission for selecting staff for various Group B and Group C posts.

1. Candidates who are intheir final year can also apply for SSC CGL 2018 Exam.

SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have graduation degree in any discipline and their final result must be declared.

2. There isno percentage requirement in SSC CGL 2018 Exam. You should besimply passed in your graduation.

3. Degree obtained through open university or distance education like IGNOU should be recognized by Distance Education Bureau accordingly.

Responsibility of mechanical engineer

  • Analyze problems to see how mechanical and thermal devices might help solve a particular problem

  • Investigate equipment failures or difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and to recommend remedies


  • Develop and test prototypes of devices they design


  • Analyze the test results and change the design or system as needed


  • Oversee the manufacturing process for the device
You have to work hard as a fresher to join any mechanical company in starting but you have to prepare yourself for interview and think positive.
