Let me explain to you how percentile is calculated:

Percentile of a student=

( Number of students who scored marks less than you in the shift that you gave examination/ total number of students who gave the exam in your shift) * 100.

So you can see that here percentile and rank is what matters the most and marks not so much when you have scored such a high percentile.
