There are many entrance exams that are conducted for getting admission in government and private engineering colleges of India. Some of the exams you must apply after 12th class are:-
Jee mains and advance, comedk,  wbjee and BITSAT.
Also there are many exams that can provide you good colleges such as
PTU cet
MHT cet
LPU
VITEEE and etc.

Hi there some of the biggest engineering examinations in India are are JEE mains ,when you qualify this exam you will get a chance to give one of the toughest examinations of the world that is JEE advanced . Some other famous examinations are BITSAT through which you can get admission in colleges like BITS pilani , BITS Hyderabad and BITS Goa .  WBJEE is other famous engineering examinations in India they all are having similar syllabus and have a bit of similar pattern.
