There are various degrees that political science offers namely BA, BA(Hons.), MA in pol sci, etc.
The theory and practice of politics, political systems, and governance are all covered in the BA(Honours) in political science. Below are some of the career options provided by this course-
- Journalism- Pol Sci enables students to evaluate and comprehend a variety of topics in our society, and the majority of news stories in the media are concerning politics and public awareness. So, graduates with a solid understanding of pol sci can work as journalists and editors in the media.
- Teaching- As a career option, one might choose to teach Pol Sci. A master's degree in Pol Sci and NET certificate are required for teaching in colleges. A BEd degree is required to teach in a school.
- Political Scientist- They are employed by a variety of national and international organisations to research various elements of governmental institutions and policy effect.
- There are various other jobs associated with Political Science like one can get into social service, Public sector, law, research,politics, marketing,etc.
