eligibility for civil service exam
The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years (for the General category candidate) on 1 August of the year of examination. Prescribed age limits vary with respect to caste reservations. For Other Backward Castes (OBC) the upper age limit is 35 years.
Educational qualification
Almost for most of the civil service exam Educational qualification for UPSC Civil Services is Graduation from any recognized university .And should be Indian.
If you are interested in Maths then you can choose your degree in the maths field. Whatever degree you are choosing start your preparation for civil service exam while pursing degree .
