So.. When compared to presidency college and BMS, placement record is good in BMS. You can get placed in the campus recruitment if you have good idea and concept about your stream.Better if you get score of 80% and above will be fine cutoff for placements . The average packages are around 4-5lakhs per annum.Teaching staff is too good and it helps you gain more knowledge. And.. Environment and college life is good as compared to other colleges in karnataka. Hope this would helps you a little bit. Choose the best one as per your preferences. Good luck!!!

Dear candidate, the placement record for both the colleges is given below:-

Presidency University Bangalore
It was the first pass-out batch(2019) in the school of engineering, but unfortunately, there was no proper placement department. Only 2 to 3 core companies offered placements, and the rest all were a marketing company. Placement wise, it is not that good. However, it provides 5 months of industrial practices. The first two months of industrial practice are at the end of the 4th semester and the beginning of the 5th semester. The second round is in the final year for three months of industrial practice.

BMS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY & MANAGEMENT
Almost 56% of students placed but only some of them got a good salary package of around 5 LPA. Only one or two got placed in a core company. Students who are in mechanical and they need to do masters or something else before getting placed into a good company, so most of them do not go for placements.
