Dear Ravi, NTA will conduct NEET 2019 on May 5th, 2019. The scores will be used for approximately 67,000 Medical seats and approximately 27,000 BDS seats across India. This includes all the categories. Now the seating quota is divided into 15% All India Quota and 85% State Quota. The results will be declared by NEET 2019 on June 5th, 2019. A few days before that, NTA will release the Answer key. You can calculate your NEET score and predict your rank with the links that will be provided. Now given the fact that you cannot remember the answers of all the 180 questions that you have written, this can be tricky and not right all the time. The probability of getting the exact result in the final stage is more or less not the same. This calculation is to give a faint idea of where you might stand in the process of NEET counseling. Now after the results are declared, only the qualifying candidates will be called in for counseling. Now the qualifying mark or cut off is different for each category. For students from General Category, 50% is the minimum aggregate and for SC/ST/OBC students, it is 40%. The cutoff marks depend on various factors like the difficulty of the exam and the no. of candidates appearing for the exam. Say if the exam was tough, the cutoff marks will be lesser and vice versa. Now after the results have been declared and you qualify, you have to apply for the counseling process so as to participate in it. The counseling will be based on the 15% AIQ and 85% State Quota Seats. The AIQ seat counseling is conducted by DGHS which is the conducting authority for Deemed Universities as well. State Counselling is conducted by the respective State Counselling Authorities. For the admission process, at the time of counseling, you need to produce certain documents like NEET Admit card, NEET Rank Letter, 10th and 12th pass certificates and Mark sheets, ID proof and if you are applying for state quota, then domicile certificate. Finally, once all the documents are verified and you get a seat, you pay the fees and join the college.
