The pros of distrokid are as follows:
- No commission! You keep 100% of the revenue earned.
- Unlimited songs for one yearly price
- Unique Spotify and iTunes features
- You can send your lyrics to Apple Music and iTunes
- Ability to backup your songs in the cloud
Cons are as follows:
- They charge a yearly fee for YouTube monetization on top of taking a commission
- Reports and analytics are very basic unless you upgrade to more expensive plans
- You need to keep paying the yearly fee to keep your songs on the stores
