There is a lot of scope in agriculture. Indian culture always promotes something organic. But we have seen that students don't prefer to go and work for agriculture based companies though they are plenty like fertiliser, seed, product based companies. Food processing is also changing the dynamics. There are a lot of opportunities in agro based companies but also practising organic farming, many companies are now taking contracts. Research also forms a concrete part. A lot of dedicated agriculture research centres are there so anybody who wants to be in the academic profession there are a lot of opportunities in the field of agriculture.

Agriculture is one of the largest industries in India and it brings wide range of opportunities on both government sector and private sector.
Agriculture field offers job opportunities in horticulture, poultry farming, plant science, soil science, food science, animalscience etcetra. You can go for postgraduation in Agriculture too,after which you can work as crop specialist,food microbiologists,farm manager,food researcher etcetra.
