There is a lot of scope in agriculture. Indian culture always promotes something organic. But we have seen that students don't prefer to go and work for agriculture based companies though they are plenty like fertiliser, seed, product based companies. Food processing is also changing the dynamics. There are a lot of opportunities in agro based companies but also practising organic farming, many companies are now taking contracts. Research also forms a concrete part. A lot of dedicated agriculture research centres are there so anybody who wants to be in the academic profession there are a lot of opportunities in the field of agriculture.
