Please mention the course for which you have raised the query. It is creating confusion because you have tagged so many different things and they cannot have a common answer. for please specify the Cousre for which we have to answer so that we can help you out in some way.
Every exam is having a different qualification criteria for different cartegory of aspirants. In some of them the gap year might not be accepted.
