Geology is one of the great upcoming feilds. Scope of geology is widening due to growing environmental concerns by people amd government.

Inorder to do Bsc in Geology you should have passed your 10+2 with Physics Chemistry And Mathematics as your core subjects.
After doing Bsc Geology you can go on to study minning, petrology, geophysics etc. or else you can go on to become a Meteorologist, Geophysicists, Geologists, Environmental educator, and much more.
After having a bachelor degree in geology you as a complete fresher without any experience of the job would get a salar of around 10,000 to 20,000 for private sector depending on the company and around 25,000 for government sector.

This will help.ypu a lot in making your career better. After Msc you can give GATE and get in PSU. Or else you can do PhD or go into research.
After Msc you can either go into research or do a job. Depending on your college you can get good placements in companies such as ONGC, OIL , IOCL.
